Military operations against terrorists continue around the country, stability restored to two towns in Qalamoun

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Army units carried out military operations on Saturday against terrorists' dens and gatherings, killing many, injuring others and destroying their weapons in several areas.

Terrorists’ den and weapons destroyed in Lattakia

A unit of the armed forces destroyed a terrorists’ den and a gathering of their vehicles and weapons in al-Jabal al-Kabir in the northern countryside of Lattakia, according to a military source.

All the terrorists inside the den were killed.

Army restores security and stability to two towns, eliminate terrorists in Damascus Countryside

Army units restored security and stability to the towns of Ras al-Ma'ara and Fleita in Yabroud area, Damascus countryside, eliminating the remnants of terrorists in tem and destroying their weapons and equipment.

A field commander told SANA's correspondent in Ras al-Ma'ara that army units eliminated a number of terrorists, most of them non-Syrians, and restored security to the town in an operation which took less than 24 hours, resulting in cutting off all supply lines from Lebanon to terrorists in this area.

Elsewhere in Damascus Countryside, army units destroyed a terrorist hideout in the town of Bassima, killing 12 terrorists including Ahmad Jaffal, Omar Hajer, and Marwan Sheikh al-Shabab, and injuring others.

Another terrorist hideout was destroyed in the mountains east of al-Zabadani, eliminating the terrorists inside it including Mahmoud al-Darsani and Osama al-Maghrebi.

The army carried out a series of operations in the town of al-Shefouniye and the industrial area in Douma, resulting in the death of many terrorists including Samer al-Sheikh Bakri and Abdelfattah Hawwa.

An army unit destroyed a vehicle on the road between Afra and Kafir al-Zeit, eliminating the terrorists inside it, including Ahmad Abu Hisham who was an expert in rigging explosives, and destroying the weapons on board.

More terrorists killed in Homs

Army units killed numbers of terrorists and wounded others in the areas of al-Dar al-Kabira, Talbiseh, al-Rastan, Um Sharshouh, al-Thawra, al-Houleh and Beit Qasswat in the countryside of Homs.

A military source told SANA that a number of the terrorists’ vehicles were destroyed in the operations along with the weapons and ammunition inside them.

Infiltration attempts foiled, gatherings razed in Aleppo

Attempts of two terrorist groups to infiltrate safe areas in al-Hamidieyh and al-Sayyed in Aleppo were thwarted by army units. Members of the two groups’ were killed and injured.

Other army units razed terrorists’ gatherings in the surrounding of the Central Prison and the Industrial City and the areas of Rasm al-Abboud, Hreitan, Kafr Hamra, al-Atareb, al-Mansoura, Maret al-Artiq, al-Lairamoun, Bani Zeid, Kafr Dael, Blass, Hanano, Andan, al-Shweihneh, Anjara, Handarat, Babis, al-Wdeihi and Kafrnaha in the countryside of Aleppo.

The operations in those areas resulted in the death and injury of numbers of terrorists and the destruction of a number of heavy machineguns mounted on vehicles.

Terrorists' infiltration attempts foiled in Daraa and Quneitra

An army unit foiled a terrorist groups' attempt to infiltrate from Bilal al-Habashi Mosque into al-Manshiyeh neighborhood in Daraa city, killing many of its members and injuring others.

The army also prevented terrorists from infiltrating miltiary outposts in Daraa countryside and in the village of al-Duwaya al-Saghira in Quneitra countryside, leaving the terrorists dead or injured.

Army units destroyed four vehicles used by terrorists on the road between al-Osaj and Kafr Shams and al-Hejje area in Quneitra countryside, killing several of the terrorists inside them and wounding the rest.

13 terrorists killed in Idleb countryside

A military source said an army unit killed 13 terrorists, wounded several others, and destroyed their weaponry in an operation against their concentration center near Bannish in Idleb countryside.
